Qualifications and Experience​

Relevant Experience: Previous teaching experience, especially in the desired grade level or subject, is highly valued. 

Substitutes with strong performance records can also be competitive.

Academic Background: A degree in education or a relevant subject area is preferred. ​

Subject Matter Expertise: A strong understanding of the content you'll be teaching is essential.

Classroom Management: The ability to create a positive and productive learning environment is crucial. We look for candidates with classroom management skills and experience.

Communication Skills: Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues is essential. 

Instructional Techniques: We are interested in your teaching methods and strategies. Be prepared to discuss your approach to lesson planning, differentiation, and assessment.

Technology Skills: Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms is important.

Qualities and Dispositions
